Which 9 Missouri Companies Made Inc.’s List of Best Workplaces for 2023?

Inc. Magazine is out with its 2023 Best Workplaces list, and nine companies in Missouri made the cut — ranging from a tech firm that offers communication software for churches to a real estate company that specializes in student housing.

The magazine honored 591 companies across the nation. To qualify, companies had to complete the Quantum Workplace employee survey, employ at least five permanent employees, have been in business for a minimum of two years and generate less than $1 billion in total annual revenue.

The list honors hundreds of companies across the country that have “cracked the culture code.” The ranking is determined by an audit of each organization’s benefits and the number of employee satisfaction survey responses.

Here are this year’s Missouri winners:

  • Chief of Staff Kansas City (Kansas City, Missouri), a recruiting firm that specializes in fields including finance, administrative and sales
  • Coegi (Columbia, Missouri), a digital media marketing agency
  • Crema (Kansas City, Missouri), a startup that offers design and technology consultancy
  • CrowdPharm (Kansas City, Missouri), a full-service health care marketing agency
