All St. Louis Public Library buildings are open to the public, as of Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
Customers are limited to 30 minutes in the building. individuals using a computer are allowed 60 minutes in the building.
St. Louis Public Library’s Central Library has 3 key areas with services and subject specialists to assist those interested in starting a business or who currently have a business. The Science & Technology Room includes resources on starting a business including online and print resources for market research and business plans, and the Patent & Trademark Resource Center where inventors and entrepreneurs can find information about protecting their brands and inventions. The Grants & Foundation Center in the Social Sciences Room has online resources, training programs, funding information, and other materials for those starting a nonprofit or those with existing nonprofits. The Library is also a Government Documents depository and staff can access Census data for the U.S., Missouri and other states, and St. Louis as well as other statistical and country information.
