The Service Corps of Retired Executives are volunteer counselors who help new, existing and expanding businesses solve their business problems. Founded in 1964, SCORE is made up of real-world professionals with time-tested knowledge who donate thousands of hours to help small businesses succeed. The Lake Ozark chapter has volunteers serving Camden and Miller counties. These counselors provide free and confidential guidance and counseling to business owners in the mid-Missouri region. The counseling tailored to meet the needs of the small business and the owner's objectives. The Lake Ozark chapter offers business workshops based on the expertise of their counselors, such as cash flow, financing and marketing. Counselors also have expertise in accounting, strategy, management and business plan preparation.
