The Missouri Women’s Business Center (MoWBC) is a catalyst for economic development in our community by providing resources, support and networks for women seeking to start or grow their own businesses.
Our offerings include classes, workshops, networking opportunities, individualized business counseling and microlending. While our primary focus is women business owners and entrepreneurs, we are dedicated to assisting any individual interested in our services.
LaunchU is a six-week course for aspiring and early-stage business owners. Over six weeks you will learn about and execute a written feasibility plan to help you determine if your business idea is a “GO” or a “NO GO.” Your feasibility can then be adapted into your business plan.LaunchU is offered quarterly. Sessions beginning in January in Columbia are offered Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
