America's Central Port District

America's Central Port District, an economic development corporation, owns and operates southwestern Illinois' only small business incubator: The River's Edge Enterprise Center.

About

America's Central Port District, an economic development organization, owns southwestern Illinois' only small business incubator: The River's Edge Enterprise Center. The Port District partners with the Southwestern Illinois Entrepreneurship Center to provide business counseling services and day-to-day operations of the incubator. The River's Edge Enterprise Center has office suites ranging in size from 125 to 425 sq. ft. available for lease, and starting for as little as $5.00 per day. Services range from the use of conference rooms (free) to the use of copiers, fax machine, postage meter, and projectors for meetings (at very reasonable cost). River's Edge Enterprise Center is unique in relationship to other incubators in that it has the availability to access land, warehouse space and industrial property for its clients. Several of the start-up companies locating at the Port require warehouse space to run their businesses. The Port remains flexible with start-up companies and entrepreneurs by offering warehouse space down to as little as 400 sq. ft. in size. Networking opportunities abound with the Enterprise Center. The Port District promotes its businesses and assists in finding clients for them.
