Northeast Missouri Electric Power Cooperative

Northeast Power (NEP), on behalf of its member electric cooperatives, has established a Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) through the United States Department of Agriculture’s Rural Economic Development Grant program. The purpose of this fund is to help create jobs and build the rural economy in both northeast Missouri and southeast Iowa.

About

Businesses and non-profit entities, including cities and counties, are eligible to apply for a loan from the RLF.  Eligible projects include any community or economic development project that benefits the local region.  This includes business start-up and expansion efforts as well as capital expenditures for needed community facilities by non-profit organizations or governmental agencies.
