The Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation operates two small business development centers. The Joseph Newman Innovation Center and the Advanced Training and Technology Center offer coworking space and dedicated office space and business resources for regional startups.

About

The Joseph Newman Innovation Center and the Advanced Training and Technology Center are part of the Joplin innovation hub along 4th Street from Empire Market to the heart of downtown Joplin, Missouri.  These two facilities are part of a web of business resources available to startup companies and entrepreneurs. We are part of the development of an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region that is fundamentally changing the way we think about small business. We are investing and providing benefits to all business types and developing programing, workshops and mentor groups based off the needs of the business owners. 

These two facilities offer co-working space, dedicated desks and private offices that include utilities, internet and phone service in one low price. We keep overhead low so small business can better invest in itself.

The Joplin Chamber of Commerce has become a gateway to the 90 day Accelerator program sponsored by the Heartland Forward organization and Builders + Backers organization.  This accelerator focuses on new startups. Businesses who are selected to attend will do so free of charge. For more information contact the chamber.
