The Clay County, Missouri, Economic Development Council is a partnership of area businesses and civic leaders. The council’s goals are to attract new business and retain existing business and industry, support business expansion for Clay County and promote a positive economic development climate. For startup and existing businesses in Clay County, the EDC provides: Economic development information regarding commercial and industrial sites, demographic statistics and tax comparisons.

The Clay County EDC offers the following opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs to engage in the community:
