SKILLS TRAINING:
Workshops are offered by all Job Centers statewide. Many Job Centers also offer additional classes and services for job seekers. Contact your local Job Center today to see how they can help you. Find your center here.
Businesses may be eligible for a grant through the Skill Up program to help purchase equipment, tools, etc. that are needed in order to work/run your businesses. Contact your local job center to get more information about how to access funding available through WIOA (workforce innovation opportunity act) and Skill Up program for use towards startup or operational business costs (pg. 4).
