At Washington University’s Olin Business School, the Center for Experiential Learning connects you with talented WashU students to consult on your business challenges and opportunities. These consulting projects are student-led and faculty-advised.

The CEL works with organizations ranging from startups and nonprofits to Fortune 50 firms and multinational corporations. 

Some of the CEL’s programs include:

Taylor Community Consulting Program:
The Taylor Community Consulting Program pairs a teams of Washington University students with local nonprofit organizations for consulting opportunities.

Your nonprofit may be eligible for TCCP if:

·         Your organization has IRS-approved 501c3 status


Small Business Initiative: 
SBI student teams, assembled based on your project needs, are passionate about creating social impact in the St. Louis area. Project areas are comprehensive and range from high-level strategy to detailed, in-depth analysis in key areas. 

You may be eligible for the Small Business Initiative if: 

·         Your business and customer base are in St. Louis

·         You employ fewer than 30 people 

·         You’ve been in business for more than two years

CEL Entrepreneurial Consulting Team (CELect):
The CELect program connects you with talented WashU students to consult on your early-stage business challenges. These consulting projects are focused on enterprises in the startup ecosystem. 

Your startup may be eligible for CELect if you: 

·         Are a St. Louis-based early-stage company 

·         Have employees beyond the founders

·         Allow students to work directly with founders

·         Have outside funding

Finance and Marketing Metrics Clinics

Students participating in the Finance and Marketing Metrics Clinics can provide strategic recommendations focused on your startup’s financial and marketing challenges or opportunities.
