Habitat for Neighborhood Business

Habitat for Neighborhood Business is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focusing particularly on helping minority entrepreneurs realize their dream to own and operate a business in economically challenged neighborhoods. HNB strives to restore urban neighborhoods with new and additional business activity, job growth and business role models.

About

Our mission: HND partners with Saint Louis University students and volunteer business people to restore economic vitality to under-served neighborhoods through mentoring, networking and education for existing and aspiring minority entrepreneurs.

In addition, HNB collaborates with developers, government and others sharing our interests in strengthening neighborhood commerce.
Before you begin to complete the application, check to see if your business is within HNB’s service area in the city of St. Louis.
HNB’s service area is: Northern boundary in the city of St. Louis is Highway 70, eastern boundary is 12th Street, southern boundary is Highway 44 and the city limits at Skinker is the western boundary.
Businesses within these boundaries are eligible for participation in the HNB program.
