Miller Nichols Library – University of Missouri-Kansas City

UMKC University Libraries link users to a world of scholarly information available through licensed online databases and journals.

About

The UMKC University Libraries are where great minds meet. You will find great ideas and thinkers in our rich collections and inviting spaces in which to collaborate with others as well as inspiring programs and exhibits that pique your intellectual curiosity. We are an essential partner in intellectual discovery, knowledge creation and empowerment while serving as the hub of learning activities for students, researchers and UMKC’s urban neighbors.

Miller Nichols Library, located on the Volker campus, is UMKC’s largest library and houses the general collection, Music/Media Library, LaBudde Special Collections and Marr Sound Archives. Community members are able to access our physical collections and can receive a guest logon to access most of our electronic resources.

Entrepreneurs and business owners seeking additional services are welcome to explore our Guest Borrower Program for checkout privileges, or Guest Researcher Program for more extensive services.
