About

St. Louis nonprofit BioSTL has laid the foundation for the region’s innovation economy with a comprehensive set of transformational programs that elevate St. Louis’ leadership in solving important world challenges in agriculture, medicine, health care and other technology areas.

What We Do:

  • Startups – BioGenerator, the investment arm of BioSTL, creates and builds new companies and infuses capital into local startups.
  • Capital – We improve access to venture capital and national grants for our startup companies.
  • Entrepreneur Development – Our Fundamentals team trains, coaches and drives resources to entrepreneurs.
  • Place – We promote a leading-edge physical environment, including incubators, labs and innovation districts.
  • People – Our Inclusion Initiative develops a diverse, inclusive and equitable innovation workforce.
  • Champion St. Louis – We build global awareness of St. Louis’ strengths.
  • Global Connectedness – Our GlobalSTL Initiative recruits high-growth, global companies, innovations and talent to St. Louis.
  • Policy – We organize a unified, regional approach to government relations and public policy.
