Book a Librarian! is a service that is available for one-on-one in-person, virtual, or email appointments to teach you how to use the library’s electronic resources for growing your business, discovering sources for research projects, and performing job searches. We provide a variety of resources that will help you:

  • gather accurate demographic data for business plans and marketing
  • find potential sources of funding
  • evaluate potential business locations for traffic flow, local competitors, and market size
  • create lists of potential customers (both companies and individuals)
  • take eCourses for professional development for the small business owner and staff through  
  • LinkedIn Learning, Gale Courses, and Creativebug on topics including social media marketing,   
  • business management, customer service skills, writing grants, and bookkeeping

We are open and at your service

  • Monday-Thursday 9:00 am-9:00 pm
  • Friday-Saturday 9:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Sunday-1:00 pm-5:00 pm
