The purpose of the two-day event is to showcase careers in the fashion industry to high school students, and the pathways for them to consider, including four-year universities, trade and community colleges, apprenticeship programs, on-the-job training, and more.
The event will include panel discussions, business, organization and educational resource tables, portfolio reviews (pre-registration is required and is available for upper-level students only), and small breakout sessions.
A pop-up retail section made up of local professionals will provide a space for them to receive visibility and sales, and give students and parents/guardians a chance to talk to industry professionals in the region’s fashion industry.
The Summit will be free and open to the public. Registration will be required. More information will be available soon.
