The Entrepreneurs: Small Business Success Stories

Wednesday, April 13 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm • Organized By SCORE - Kansas City
Online Event

About

The Entrepreneurs is a casual one-hour coffee talk where successful Kansas City Entrepreneurs will talk about their business journeys – the challenges, the hard work, the failures, the successes – answer questions, and make it real. Come learn about local entrepreneurs and their pathways to small business success. Hosted by SCORE Kansas City’s Chapter Chair, Karen Squires Foelsch, our inaugural guest will be Danny O’Neill, founder of The Roasterie. The Roasterie has been locally owned and operated since 1993 and has shown dedication and passion in developing relationships with coffee producers as well as building long-lasting customer relationships here in Kansas City. From the very beginning, they offered direct trade coffee, partnering directly with farmers as much as possible and paying above market value in order to secure the best coffees and develop longstanding, mutually beneficial supply chain relationships. Come hear self-described “Bean Baron” Danny O’Neill talk about his journey to get to six Roasterie cafes, multiple restaurants, high schools and grocery stores serving and selling delicious coffee throughout the Kansas City metro before joining Messenger Coffee in FairWave Holdings in September 2020.
