About

The efactory and Missouri Small Business Development Center at MSU Mentorship Program gives startup founders and small business owners access to experienced owners and business leaders. These experts understand the risks and rewards of starting a business. Mentors provide honest and practical feedback based on personal experience, not just business theory.

Mentorship meetings are free and open to everyone.

—

Joshua Smith is a highly detailed and motivated self-starter with multiple entrepreneurial startups and successful exits over the past 20 years. His work has primarily focused on the B2C & B2B eCommerce sector with over $87 million in gross retail sales to date. Joshua enjoys the challenge of taking hard and complex tasks/systems and breaking them down into manageable processes that can be monetized.

Over the past 20 years, Joshua has founded six companies, selling everything from sport-supplements, nutraceuticals, loose leaf tea, 3D printers, a monthly subscription box, and even an injection molding company that ultimately sold to the University of California Irvine.

Joshua has been featured in Inc. Magazines ‘Top CEOs Under 30’ and his nutraceuticals company was featured in Inc. Magazines – Fastest Growing Companies 3 years running as:

#40 fastest growing retail company in the US
#793 overall for all companies in the US

These days you can normally find Joshua traveling with his family, working toward another rating on his pilot license or volunteering at his local church. He’s looking forward to meeting with you and learning more about your company and your goals!
