Raj retired as president, CEO and member of the board of directors of Arcadia Biosciences Inc. (Nasdaq: RKDA) in September 2019 and is currently Principal Consultant at RDK Global Consulting LLC. His experience includes building and leading businesses in agricultural chemicals, seeds, plant biotechnology, and chemical manufacturing. His broad functional experience includes global commercial business, biotechnology R&D and manufacturing. In Arcadia Biosciences, he transformed the business from a technology licensing to a product-oriented model in the health and nutrition ingredients products space. Earlier in Monsanto, he launched Bt cotton – the first and most successful Ag Biotech product in India that changed the Indian cotton landscape; and launched a new agricultural chemicals and plant biotechnology products in US and in international markets. He is experienced in India, Thailand, Vietnam, and the United States. Raj has a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from the University of New Orleans.
