Spring Forward with Pop-up Shops and Incubators

Wednesday, February 3 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am • Organized By Missouri Main Street Connection
Online Event

MMSC will host Mornings on Main on Wednesday, February 3rd at 8:30 AM. Would you like to have Pop-Up Shops or an Incubator in your community? We will discuss with two Main Street Directors why these two entrepreneurial adventures can improve a community’s vitality and add creative interest to your downtown.

Megan Taul is the Executive Director of Main Street Trenton. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, she returned to her hometown of Trenton, Missouri. She has assisted the Board of Directors with preserving a historic building in the downtown district and launching the Main Street Mercantile, home to several small businesses. Main Street Trenton received their first state award from MMSC, the Outstanding Economic Impact Project Award, for the Main Street Mercantile in 2020.

Jill Purvis is the daughter of a small-town business owner and has lived in Warrensburg on and off for the past 26 years as the spouse of an Air Force pilot serving his third assignment at Whiteman Air Force Base. Jill holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She previously served as the Warrensburg Main Street Events Coordinator for four years where she gained valuable experience that helped prepare her to take on the role of Executive Director in 2019.
