Mid-America Trade Summit

Thursday, November 15 @ 8:00 am - 6:00 pm • Organized By University of Missouri, International Trade Center
Columbia, MO

About

Core Concept:

The 2018 Mid-America Trade Summit begins with an opening networking reception and is followed by a full-day program that offers attendees a choice of session options, all of which are delivered by outstanding exporters.  The event provides a unique opportunity to join top exporters, global trade leaders and trade assistance providers from across Mid-America, as they gather to share best practices and lessons learned in global trade.

Invitations, recognition and presentation opportunities will be extended to export award honorees (E-Award, SBA Exporter of the Year, and State Exporter honorees) and other leading exporters from throughout the Mid-America region.

Mid-America Region: This region encompasses a broad geography and number of states located in the mid-section of the United States. Initial conference marketing and outreach efforts will target exporters, trade assistance providers and educators in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Target Audience: Exporters, trade assistance providers and educators.

The fast-paced, high-touch format of the Mid-America Trade Summit provides CEOs and upper-level management with direct access to high-level networking and shared-learning opportunities. Attendees will be provided information on resources and techniques that successful exporters are using to guide export expansion. Insights will be shared that Trade Summit attendees can adapt or adopt within their own businesses to support business growth and development. The Trade Summit presents the same networking and shared learning opportunities for international trade assistance providers, new exporters, and educators.
