In this webinar, exporters will understand how to set up a successful letter of credit.  Exporters will learn what the right questions to ask and negotiate the key terms and conditions up front in a letter of credit.   In addition, exporters understand "Payment Terms" as it relates to when you get paid.   They will take control of the paying, negotiating and confirmation functions as well as issue, expiry, shipment and presentation dates.  Mr. Richard “Chip” Thomas, International banker and founder of The American Export Training Institute, AETI, will be the main speaker.  

  • Learn what the right questions to ask and negotiate the key terms and conditions up front in a letter of credit.
  • Understand "Payment Terms" as it relates to when you get paid.
  • Take control of the paying, negotiating and confirmation functions as well as issue, expiry, shipment and presentation dates.
  • Ask questions of the presenters and listen to the answers provided to other participants.
