The 32nd Mid-America Labor/Management Conference will focus on hot-button issues and successful labor-management collaborations July 9-12 at Camden on the Lake.
Featured topics include a message from U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill; the potential impact of Missouri “right-to-work,” labor-KCATA partnership to provide free transit to veterans, health care solutions and potential changes from the ACA; addressing workplace violence, utility and construction workforce issues, the future of Missouri’s prevailing wage, changing labor law, a mock arbitration and more. A golf tournament and other activities will also be available. The draft agenda is below.
The conference also provides an excellent opportunity for networking with labor, management and government leaders from throughout the region. Nearly 200 leaders are expected to attend the conference. The conference hotel is filling up so registrations and reservations should be made soon.
