December 17, 2019: The First Steps to Starting a Business, Kansas City, Mo.

This three-hour offering from the ELEVATIONLAB at UMKC will provide you with an overview of the critical first steps associated with starting a business. It is designed specifically for those who are thinking about a new business venture. Participants will assess their strengths and weaknesses in terms of business ownership, learn about the importance of planning, discuss legal and regulatory requirements and identify sources of funding. December 18, 2019: Free Fridays at the efactory, Springfield, Mo.

Just when you thought Fridays couldn’t get any sweeter, the efactory rolls out Free Fridays – a free, no hassle way to get work done, enjoy a change of scenery, drink good coffee and meet awesome people. Each and every Friday is Free Friday at the efactory, meaning the coworking space is wide open to anyone who wants to drop by and get some work done. Come for the whole day, or come for an hour. December 26, 2019: Women Business Owner Mastermind Exchange, Columbia, Mo.

The Missouri Women’s Business Center is back with this crowd pleasing event. Learn about the power of mastermind groups as you experience this confidential, supportive space for women to come together and discuss challenges, ideas and success stories.
