Revolving Loan Fund
The Commission currently operates two EDA-funded Revolving Loan Funds, one funded with Delta Regional Authority monies, and another funded with CDBG funds. The loans are made to new or expanding businesses or industries needing “gap” financing to fill in the difference of what they can contribute and what they can acquire from traditional financing institutions.
Grant Opportunities
As notices of state and federal grant opportunities are received in the Commission’s offices, notice is forwarded to member entities. Grant availability notices are received regularly from the Missouri Community Development Block Grant Program, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (water, sewer, parks and recreation, etc.), the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the U. S. Economic Development Administration, the Delta Regional Authority, the U. S. Department of Agriculture, the Environmental Protection Agency, the U. S. Department of Justice program (for law enforcement projects), the Missouri Department of Conservation, as well as other state and federal agencies.
