On January 13, 2009 Governor Nixon signed
Executive Order 09-03, which directs the Missouri Department of Economic Development to work with the Missouri Development Finance Board (MDFB) to create a pool of funds designated for low-interest and no-interest direct loans to small businesses. Applications for this loan funding are now being accepted.
